Scott Kelby has just put up his christmas Wishlist, among which is the R-strap. His comments,

It lets you carry your camera without straining your shoulder, and you can whip it around to shoot in a split second. Everybody’s raving about them, and I had to get one myself (and now I’ll be giving some as holiday gifts too).
